Grab & Go Balloon Garland

HANGING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Choose Your Spot

Decide where you would like to hang your garland, then have a friend or family member hold the garland up to determine where your first wall hook will be placed. If you are party prepping on your own, you can do this step yourself – use your left hand to hold the balloon garland, and your right hand to mark out the spot for your wall hook.

*Note: If you're attaching your garland to something like a banister or railing, you can skip to step 3.*

2. Install the Command Hooks.

For step-by-step visuals and detailed help, see page 2 of our Printable Hanging Guide. (click to go there)

3. Attach the Garland

If you're anchoring to a banister or railing (already existing anchor point):

Use the included long balloon (often called a 260 balloon) to attach your garland. Wrap it around the section of the garland where it's tied together between the balloons, then loop the other end around your anchor point. Tie a knot to secure it in place.

If you don't have an already established anchor point:

Use the included Command hooks to create your own anchor point on a wall.

Tie one end of the long balloon (260) in a knot directly onto the Command hook. Then tie the other end in a knot so it forms a loop, like a rubber band.

Stretch that loop over a balloon on your garland to secure it in place.

Once the first end of your garland is secured, hold up the rest against the wall to shape it the way you’d like.

When you're happy with the placement, repeat the same process using a 260 balloon to secure the other end.

If the garland needs extra support in the middle, you can add a third 260 balloon there to help hold its shape.

4. Adjust for Shape

Step back and look at your garland from different angles. Add more hooks if needed to adjust the drape or shape. You can gently tug or push balloons into place. Most of the mini balloons can be easily repositioned, so make sure they're towards the front and have fun moving them slightly to achieve the look you like best.
